Karine Jacquemart is the Executive Director of Foodwatch France, a non-profit campaigning organization that fights for safe, healthy and affordable food for all people. Foodwatch aims at giving consumers a loud voice, speak up for transparency in the food sector and defend their right to food that harms neither people, nor the environment.  She is a committed advocate for a better social, environmental and economic justice, particularly in relation with food issues (right to food, food security, food and health).

Karine Jacquemart coordinated humanitarian missions on the ground with Action Against Hunger (ACF), before joining Greenpeace in 2009 for developing an international campaign in Central Africa. She has co-authored and co-produced numerous articles and publications, denouncing, among other things, land grabbing, human rights violations and pretense on the theme of sustainable development or free trade.
